Campaign Brief Generator
Turn what you know about your business and your objective into a brief you can hand to an agency, a freelancer or an internal marketer — with scope, what is out of scope, deliverables, and the questions worth asking whoever you give it to.

Working on it…
What you get
An objective stated so it can be judged, success criteria that can actually be observed, the audience and proposition, what is in scope and explicitly what is not, deliverables with an owner against each, your constraints, and a set of questions to put to the supplier.
Why it does not tell them how to do the work
A brief that specifies the campaign structure, the keywords and the creative gets you the supplier’s worst work, because you have done their thinking for them and they are now delivering to your plan rather than their judgement. This states what must be achieved and how it will be judged, and deliberately leaves the how open.
How to read your result
The out-of-scope section is the one that prevents the argument in month three. The supplier questions are the ones that separate somebody who has understood your business from somebody who has read your brief.
What to watch for
Where a target figure belongs and you have not supplied one, the brief asks for it to be agreed with the supplier in the first week rather than inventing a number. A brief containing a made-up target is worse than one with a gap in it.
Questions
How is this different from the Marketing Plan Generator?
The plan tells you what to do. The brief tells somebody else what you need done, and how you will judge it. They answer different questions and you may well want both.
Can I edit it?
You should. Copy it out and make it yours — particularly the constraints and the success criteria, which only you really know.
Does it use real search or cost data?
No, and it says so rather than pretending otherwise. We have no keyword volume, cost-per-click or competitor data source, so the tool never states one. Anywhere a figure would normally be invented, it is simply absent. Any number it proposes is labelled as a starting point to validate against your own accounts.
Why do I have to verify an email?
Each generation costs us a request, so an unverified form would be drained by bots within a day. Verifying proves an inbox is real. It is not a newsletter signup — we do not add you to a mailing list or a CRM, and the free calculators need no account at all.
