I always say, “Having a presence of social media give your customers a legitimate eye to your business.” “Or Other way of saying a business without a social presence is outdated at best or untrustworthy.” With so many ways to promote your business, it can be very hard to know where you start. I’ve created a Six Steps to Engage your audience in Socials.

1.Create Business Page

If you want to show your presence, you need to create a separate page for your business. It’s just a regular personal page for your business to promote your brand. Start Spreading the word, ask your friends and customers to like or follow your page and thus the first phase of advertising starts. When creating a page, it’ll ask you a lot of options and I say take time and customise it. You add as much more information as possible, so it creates a presence of what your business does. 2.Engage Regularly 

Setting a page and customising is just a face of the business. Now it’s time to show what you do in your business. It Shouldn’t be a one-way conversation, businesses should interact with their customers by responding to their queries and feedbacks. That shows you care for your customers. Create engagement by creating polls or ask a question to know the needs of your customer. The key to engagement is posting quality content. For best results, try to be friendly and conversational. Keep updates timely and respond to comments and private messages.  

5.Leverage Friends of Fans

Social Media is the new “word-of-mouth”. People are most likely trying something if their friends already tried using it. When your customers interact on your page, their friends see their activity on their feeds. Engage more and make interactions by using polls or questions or any other way to an engagement. Post your socials in every wall of your business to encourage your customers for a small discount whenever they check-in your business. This will notify their friends and create new users to know your business.
